The Ek Dham Yatra is a spiritually enriching pilgrimage to Kedarnath, one of the holiest Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. This 4-day journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of the Garhwal Himalayas, offering a blend of devotion, adventure, and cultural immersion. The yatra includes visits to sacred sites like Guptkashi, Gaurikund, and Kedarnath, with options for trekking or helicopter services. It is designed to provide a memorable spiritual experience while ensuring comfort and convenience.

Day 01: Haridwar to Guptkashi (200 km | 9-10 hours)

The journey begins with an early morning pickup from Haridwar, marking the start of your spiritual adventure. The drive to Guptkashi spans approximately 200 km and takes 9-10 hours, offering scenic views of the Garhwal Himalayas along the way. En route, you will pass through Devprayag, where the holy rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi converge to form the Ganga, a sight of profound spiritual significance. If time permits, you can visit the Dhari Devi Temple, known as the protector of the Char Dham temples. Upon reaching Guptkashi, you will check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, preparing for the next day’s journey. An overnight stay in Guptkashi ensures a comfortable rest before the trek ahead.

Day 02: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (35-km drive & 20-km trek)

The second day begins with an early morning drive to Sonprayag, the gateway to Kedarnath. After reaching Sonprayag, you will board a shared jeep for a 6-km ride to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek. From Gaurikund, the 20-km trek to Kedarnath begins, winding through breathtaking landscapes and offering glimpses of the majestic Himalayas. For those who prefer not to trek, poni or palki services are available at an additional cost. The trek is a mix of physical challenge and spiritual contemplation, culminating in the darshan of Lord Kedarnath at the sacred temple. After paying homage, you will spend the night in Kedarnath, immersed in the divine atmosphere of the holy shrine.

Day 03: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (20-km trek down & 35-km drive)

The third day starts with a morning trek back to Gaurikund, retracing the scenic path taken the previous day. From Gaurikund, you will take a shared jeep to Sonprayag and then drive back to Guptkashi. In the evening, you can witness the mesmerizing aarti at the ancient Guptkashi Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is a lesser-known gem but holds deep spiritual significance. After the aarti, you will retire for the night in Guptkashi, reflecting on the spiritual experiences of the past few days.

Day 04: Guptkashi to Haridwar (200 km | 9-10 hours)

The final day of the yatra begins with an early morning drive back to Haridwar, covering the 200 km distance in approximately 9-10 hours. As you journey back, you can reflect on the spiritual and emotional experiences of the pilgrimage, carrying with you the blessings of Lord Kedarnath. Upon arrival in Haridwar, the tour concludes, leaving you with memories of a lifetime.
